Like so many of you, I'm finding lots of inspiration from Lotta Jansdotter's lovely book of simple patterns.
I made this linen and cotton, reversible apron for my mum.
There is nothing conventional about my mom, she is a lover of the drink, she's passionate about science, a hardcore book worm, and enjoys challenging discussions, especially with a younger generation (she can drink and party with folks in their early 20's - my mom has been a teacher for a long time nd keeps in touch with lots of her former students)
She's also a huge fan of food. Cooking is a form of self expression for her, an expression of love.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Moms!!!
Cute!
